Road was closed in both directions between Bartley Road and Fieldstone Drive for three hours Thursday.
LONG VALLEY, N.J. - A serious motor vehicle crash closed a section of Naughright Road Tuesday morning and hospitalized one, Washington Township Lt. Doug Compton said.
The road was closed between Bartley Road and Fieldstone Drive around 10:20 a.m. after a single-car crash and was reopened around 1 p.m., Compton said. A preliminary investigation showed the driver of a vehicle heading south on Naughright Road crossed over the double-yellow lines into the northbound lane and struck a tree, Compton said.
The investigation is ongoing and it is not yet known why the driver swerved, Compton said. The victim was taken to Hackettstown Medical Center by the Long Valley First Aid Squad.
