Shoplifting Investigation
Over the last month, Washington Township police have been investigating an ongoing shoplifting issue at Target.

Police were able to arrest a suspect, a Washington Borough man from Warren County.
The man was taken to the Morris County Jail pending a court hearing.

Outstanding Warrant
Washington Township police recently noticed several traffic violations from a driver on Coleman Road, authorities said.
Police pulled the car over and found the 30-year-old driver, from New Brunswick, to have an outstanding NCIC warrant from the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
The driver was issued a traffic summons from the Washington Township Police and put in the Morris County Correctional Facility. He was eventually transferred to the Middlesex County Department of Corrections to await court proceedings.
