Historic Long Valley Building The New Home For Stonybrook Realty

The property was the home of two of Long Valley's first residents, then another who operated a sugar cane farm and molasses factory.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — The notable 1 East Mill Road building is officially the new home of Stonybrook Realty.

The real estate brokerage firm officially celebrated its ribbon cutting this past Sunday, with Washington Township Mayor Matt Murello a part of the firm’s festivities to help them open their new doors.

“The renovations to the building’s interior are beautiful and keeps with the historic character of the building,” Murello said.

According to the Washington Township Historical Society, 1 East Mill Road was originally the home of Philip and Jacob Weise, two of Long Valley’s first residents. Sugar cane grower Morris Naughright later lived there, who also operated a molasses factory on the grounds.
