Long Valley Students Host 'Soles4Souls' Shoe Collecting Event
New and gently used shoes are sought for the donation drive three West Morris Central High School students have organized for Saturday.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — Three West Morris Central High School students are collecting new and gently-worn shoes for “Soles4Souls,” this coming Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The students will be in front of The Coffee Potter during those hours on Saturday to take donated shoes, at 24 Schooleys Mountain Road.

Soles4Souls is an organization that accepts “unwanted shoes and clothing into opportunity by keeping them from going to waste and putting them to good use,” according to the group’s website.
The group takes in shoes to provide relief to those who’ve been through disasters, to give to people who are looking to create businesses in their country by selling donated shoes and clothes and lastly by keeping clothes and shoes out of landfills.

Soles4Souls states that as an organization, it has collected over 73,310,170 articles of clothes and pairs of shoes to date.
