Sweet Corn Festival Around The Corner In Long Valley

LONG VALLEY, NJ - Live music, food trucks, craft beers and family farm fun, are all part of the celebration that’s at the end of July to honor a Jersey Fresh staple that comes around every summer, Jersey sweet corn.

Ort Farms on 25 Bartley Road is hosting the event on Saturday, July 31 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with tickets on sale now.

Corn Hub is one of the food truck vendors that plans to be there, specializing in fire-roasted corn, “Elotes," which is Mexican Street Corn coated with chilis or other herbs and spices.

Cousins Maine Lobster, The Empanada Guy, Dellano’s Food Service and Sip ’N Swirl Ice Cream, are also planning on driving in to dish out fare for the festivities.

Jersey Girl Brewing of Hackettstown will be there, pouring their speciality craft brews.

The Zena Pereira Trio is the day’s live musical guest.

Pony rides, cow train rides, farm animals to visit and horse-drawn carriage rides, are some of the activities for festival-goers of all ages.

Everyone 10 and up must pay admission, but there’s a $2 off deal for tickets purchased online.
