Toddler Hit By Dump Truck In North Jersey Dies: PD
The two-year-old child died earlier on Monday after he was struck by a dump truck.

STANHOPE, NJ — A two-year-old child has died after being hit by a dump truck, Stanhope Police Chief Steve Pittigher said.
The boy, who lived in Stanhope, was struck on Route 206 near Acorn Drive in Stanhope, Pittigher said. His identity was not released.
The driver of the dump truck was not detailed, and the cause of the crash was still under investigation as police inspect the truck and go over statements, Pittigher said. No other cars were involved.

Route 206 was closed in Stanhope for about four hours as police investigated. The road is now open.
