Tornado Watch Issued, Hundreds Without Power In Morris County Wednesday Night

A tornado watch was issued Wednesday night by the National Weather Service for Morris County and was put in effect until 11 p.m.

In addition to Morris, Warren, Sussex, Hunterdon, Somerset, and Middlesex counties were also put under the watch.

As of 7:45 p.m. more than 600 JCP&L customers were out of power, most of which were in Randolph Township, according to the utility provider.
