Van Caught Fire Without Driver Realizing: WTPD
Police say the driver didn't realize the car was on fire until he was pulled over by police.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — A work van caught on fire, unbeknownst to the driver, Washington Township police said.
The fire happened the morning of April 10. The van, a GMC style work van, was driving north on Schooley's Mountain Road when Lt. Douglas Compton saw that the entire underside of the car was engulfed in flames.
Compton pulled the car over, and the driver and passenger got out of the car, unaware that it had been on fire. Local fire companies extinguished the fire.

The van was totaled; the cause of the gas leak was a gas leak, police said.
