Washington Providing Shared Court Services With Mendham Boro

Mendham Borough residents will now report to Long Valley for court services.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Washington Township will begin providing court services for Mendham Borough starting next month, township officials said.

The shared court services agreement will begin on Oct. 1, 2019, after New Jersey Courts approved the shared services plan earlier this month. Mendham Borough will join Califon in sharing Washington Township's court services.

"Washington Twp. continues to lead with shared services that fill a need and bring in added revenue to the Township. Thank you Mayor Christine Serrano Glassner and the Township Administrators from both municipalities for making this happen to benefit our towns," Washington Mayor Matt Murello said.
