Washington Township Police Swear In New Sergeant

LONG VALLEY, NJ - Masked up and taking advantage of the summer weather, the Washington Township Police Department promoted two of their own last week.

Phil Seabeck who was sworn in as a Sergeant and Dan Parrish who was also promoted, to Corporal, according to officials.

COVID-19 precautions saw both ceremonies take place outside of Town Hall with their families present.

Officials noted that due to ongoing changes within the department, there have been three promotions in the last month, with Lt. Lucas Allen being promoted in July.

There will also be a hiring process in the near future, officials said.
