2nd Place Championship Win For West Morris Central H.S. Marching Band

It was the marching band's first year competing in the Regional Championship, as new Region 10 members, in the Tournament of Bands.

LONG VALLEY, NJ β€” The members of the West Morris Central High School marching band took home a second place trophy during the Tournament of Bands Regional Championship.

The band competed on Oct. 24 at West Essex High School in North Caldwell at the Region 10 Championship.

During the championship among the five Group 2-A bands competing, West Morris Central placed second as follows, according to the Tournament of Bands:

Group 2 - A
1. 92.24 - Sparta
2. 87.31 - West Morris Central
3. 85.93 - Columbia
4. 81.76 - North Bergen
5. 81.61 - Montville Twp

It was the first year that West Morris Central High School competed, as new members of Region 10 for Fall 2021’s Tournament of Bands, with West Morris Mendham High School also new to the Tournament of Bands Region 10.

Region 10 is comprised of counties in New Jersey and New York including Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Warren, Bronx, Kings, Suffolk, Nassau, Queens and Westchester.
