Woman Calls 911 20 Times, Assaults Cop: Mount Olive Police
Police say the woman was intoxicated when she called 911 over 20 times in the early morning hours on Monday.
MOUNT OLIVE, NJ — A Succasunna woman is accused of calling 911 over 20 times and assaulting a police officer when they told her to stop in Mount Olive, police said.
The incident began when Mount Olive Police began receiving 911 calls at 3:30 a.m. on Monday. Twenty calls later, officers were able to trace the calls back to an Eagle Rock Village Apartment around 4:45 a.m.
Police say they went to the apartment, and in talking to the people there began to believe that Shealyn Curley, 27, was intoxicated as she kept dialing 911. They told her to only call if there was an emergency and left the apartment, police said, but Curley kept yelling, cursing and acting "disorderly" police said.
