Young Sailors Bunk on USS Battleship New Jersey
Cub Scouts enjoy trip to Camden landmark.
The Cub Scouts of Pack 236 in Long Valley experienced "a day in the life of a US sailor" by participating in an overnight encampment on the USS Battleship New Jersey in Camden.
Waking to reveille, exploring the ship's gun turrets, sleeping on the bunks where the sailors slept and waiting on the "chow line" were just a few of the authentic experiences the Scouts encountered during the weekend stay at the historical museum.
