Cops: Resident Was Wanted For Not Appearing on Burglary Charges
Borough resident was seen walking on Greenwood Avenue when he was stopped, police said.

A 42-year-old Madison man was arrested Friday on a criminal arrest warrant for allegedly failing to appear in court on burglary charges that were filed by the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, according to borough police.
Richard Borner was arrested by Madison Police Detective Paul Kosakowski at 1:34 p.m. Friday after Kosakowski saw him walking on Greenwood Avenue, said in a news release.
After a field interview, a computer check revealed warrants from Franklin, Randolph and Morris Plains totaling $2,883, police said.

Borner was processed at police headquarters and released to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Fugitive Unit, police said. Detective Ed Mitchko assisted with the arrest.
