Cops: Man Ran, Had Pot
A 24-year-old Parsippany resident was charged with drug possession and hindering apprehension, Madison police said.

A 24-year-old Parsippany man who allegedly ran for a backyard in the borough and was thought to be acting suspicious by Madison police on Tuesday afternoon was determined to allegedly be in possession of marijuana after a brief investigation, authorities said.
Andrey Mroz was arrested at 2:19 p.m. by Madison Patrolman Paul Papamarkos and charged with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and hindering apprehension, according to a news release.
Police said Mroz was stopped in the area of Park Avenue and Ridgedale Avenue, and was determined to have the drug after a brief investigation.

Mroz was processed at police headquarters and released pending a court appearance, according to police. Sgt. Joseph Cirella assisted with the arrest.
