Drew, Madison Softball Players StrikeOut Cancer

Doubleheader raised awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society.

The softball team in a doubleheader against Stevens Institute on Tuesday with Madison Softball players on hand to support the event.

The Rangers wore pink jerseys in support of StrikeOut Cancer, an initiative of the American Cancer Society and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association that aims to fight cancer by increasing awareness and raising funds for research.

The teams split the day, with Drew winning the first game, while Stevens won the second.

The Madison Softball League works with Drew athletes in a four-week winter clinic and attended the event to show their support.
