Drew University Tennis Star Returns to Alma Mater as Coach
Matt Brisotti, a recent graduate of Drew and former tennis coach at The College of St. Elizabeth, has returned to Drew as head coach.

Just 14 months after graduating from Drew University, tennis star Matt Brisotti made the difficult jump from player to coach by accepting a position coaching tennis at another Madison school, The College of Saint Elizabeth. This audacious move made Brisotti, at 23-years-old, the youngest tennis coach currently in the NCAA at that time. This past March, Brisotti leapt at the chance to coach tennis at his alma matter after Drew University tennis coach Jeff Brandes vacated the position, the Suffolk Times reports.
A native of Mattituck, New York, Brisotti has now found himself coaching other players who were his team mates when he proudly wore the Drew University Rangers jersey. According to the Suffolk Times, Brisotti is the Drew University record holder for doubles with 64 wins, and ranks fourth in the record books for singles with 55 wins. Brisotti will be coaching 12 women and 8 men in the upcoming tennis season. Read more about his journey from player to coach here.
