Fresh, Fresher and Freshest at Farmer's Market
Waverly's the place to be Thursdays from 2 - 7 p.m.
Ther Madison Farmers Market is in full swing on Thursdays from 2 - 7 p.m. on Waverly Place between Lincoln Place and Main Street.
The Market began in 1993, and Maureen Byrne, chairwoman, noted that it has been expanded onto Lincoln Place to allow for more vendors.
Shoppers browsed vendors offerings everything from fish caught in the morning and sold in the afternoon, to gluten-free products, desserts and fresh-cut flowers. They sampled Kettle Korn of Hillsborough Township, and visited with Shore Catch of Barnegat Township, which displayed sushi-grade scallops.
