Get Free Ice Cream For Wearing A Helmet In Madison
This summer, the Madison Police Department has resumed awarding certificates to children who follow proper bike safety rules.
MADISON, NJ — Usually, if the police issue you a ticket, it is for something you did wrong. That is not the case for Madison children out on their bikes.
This summer, police are ticketing them for doing the right thing.
Children who are seen practicing proper bike safety, including the use of a helmet, will be rewarded with a certificate for a free kids cone from McCool's Ice Cream Parlour.
