Kings Road in Madison Closed Tuesday for Roadwork, More Construction Planned
Kings Road between Green Ave. and Maple St. is closed until 4 p.m. for roadwork. More construction is planned for several streets next week.

Kings Road between Green Ave. and Maple Street is currently closed for utility work, according to the Madison Police Department.
Madison Police have set up detours and encourage drivers to avoid the area if possible. Those looking to access the train station may approach the station from the Prospect Street side of Kings Road.
Detours will be in place until 4 p.m., when the utility work has concluded.

Locals should also note that Pine Tree, Durwood, Fletcher, Niles, and North roads will also be affected by roadwork on Monday, Nov. 3 and Tuesday, Nov. 4. The roadwork is part of the 2014 Road Improvement Project.
Cifelli & Son General Construction, of Nutley, will be overseeing the milling project that will affect the aforementioned roads on those dates. The milling project was originally scheduled for this week, but was pushed back due to rain.
