The market will finish its season tomorrow from 1pm to 6pm, next to the Museum of Early Trades and Crafts.

Tomorrow will be the last farmer’s market in Madison.
Food Notes at NJ.com offers advice on how to make the most of fall farmer’s markets. The produce you’ll find at a farmer’s market this time of year includes
- Greens like like radishes, lettuces, spinach, Swiss chard, cabbage and kale
- White and sweet potatoes
- Radishes, turnips, broccoli, cauliflower and kohlrabi
- Shallots and onions
- Winter squashes including pumpkins, delicata, celebration, buttercup, butternut, acorn and spaghetti.
- Fruits including cranberries
- Apples, in all fall varieties: Cortland, Empire, Stayman Winesap, Cameo, Red and Golden Delicious, Jonathan, MacIntosh and Granny Smith.
This means it’s also the opportunity for Madison residents to participate in Buy Fresh/Give Fresh, an initiative which donates fresh produce to local soup kitchens. Buy Fresh/Give Fresh accepts donations at their stand right in the middle of the market.
