Madison Borough Holding Pilgrim Pipeline Meeting
The borough of Madison will be sponsoring a community meeting regarding the topic of the Pilgrim Pipeline.

Madison Borough is holding a community meeting at Madison High School, 170 Ridgedale Ave., at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25, to discuss the Pilgrim Pipeline proposal.
The Madison Police Department posted about the meeting on its Facebook page stating, the meeting will feature speakers including former Governor Richard J. Codey, Mayor Bob Conley, state officials and an environmental attorney.
Chatham Borough posted an announcement about the Madison Borough meeting on its website and encouraged residents to make an effort to attend the meeting.

In addition to Madison, both Chatham Township and Chatham Borough have passed resolutions opposing the Pilgrim Pipeline. The pipeline would transport oil 178 miles from Albany, New York, to Linden.
