Madison Park Receiving Funds for Renovation
An ordinance to appropriate funds for the renovation of a local park was introduced by the Madison Borough Council.

Madison Borough’s Memorial Park will be receiving much-needed renovations after the Borough Council introduced an ordinance for repairs.
The ordinance appropriates $75,000 for resurfacing and repair of the skating rink and playing fields at Memorial Park, located off of Rosedale Avenue, according to the Borough of Madison. The ordinance was introduced at the Borough Council’s March 23 meeting and will be the subject of a public hearing and final vote of adoption at the council’s April 13 meeting.
Maintaining the park’s field has long been an issue which will be made worse when the playing field behind the former Green Village Road School is lost to a redevelopment of the property, according to the Madison Eagle.
