Madison YMCA To Hold Blood Drive Next Week

The Madison Area YMCA will hold a drive for urgently needed blood on Oct. 7

MADISON, NJ—With local supplies low and donations urgently needed, the Madison Area YMCA will hold a blood drive next week.

The event, also to commemorate October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at the YMCA, 111 Kings Rd. in Madison. Appointments are strongly recommended, and can be made here.

The YMCA said social distancing and other measures will be in place, and donors should wear masks. Temperature checks will be performed on all donors.

According to the YMCA, those who have had a positive coronavirus test or those who have experienced symptoms in the last 14 days cannot donate at this time. Anyone who is currently on quarantine restrictions is also unable to donate.
