Hurricane Joaquin may have put a damper on this year’s “Bottle Hill Day” in Madison, original scheduled for Oct. 3, but the annual event has since been rescheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24.

Borough Officials originally planned on keeping the event date as is, just pushing the set-up time an hour back. However, Joaquin had other plans. Due to poor weather and potentially dangerous winds, they were forced to cancel the event.

The rescheduled “Bottle Hill Day” will coincide with the “Sidewalk Art Gala.” Original artwork will be moved to the “Bottle Hill Day” Beer Garden, and the art will be auctioned off at 6 p.m.

Fortunately, nearly all the vendors say they are available to attend the rescheduled “Bottle Hill Day,” and some new vendors are asking for space during the event.
