Morris County Law Enforcement and OEM Tackle Ice Bucket Challenge
Watch more than a dozen employees from the OEM and Sheriff's Office get soaked to raise funds for ALS and Breast Cancer research.

On Tuesday afternoon, more than a dozen brave men and women from the Morris County Office of Emergency Management and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations became the latest team to conquer the ice bucket challenge, which in three short weeks, has raised more than $15.6 million for ALS research. Check out a video of their amazing unison splash here.
“In addition to ALS, we here at Morris County want to use this opportunity to raise awareness for another cause,” Jefferey Paul, Director of the Morris County Office of Emergency Management said. “About 1 in 8 women (approximately 12 percent) will develop invasive breast cancer in their lifetime.”
“The Morris County Office of Emergency Management in partnership with the Morris County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Section and the Morris County Office of Personnel will be collecting funds for the upcoming Making Strides of Parsippany event which will be held at 8 a.m. on Sunday, October 19, at the Mack-Cali Business Campus located at 6 Century Drive, Parsippany,” Paul added. “Making Strides is a celebration of breast cancer survivorship, a celebration of hope, and an expression of our shared determination to make this breast cancer’s last century. “
