Police To Hold 'Madison Public Safety Day' Next Fall
The Madison Police Department has started planning a new event titled, "Madison Public Safety Day" in lieu of traditional Nation Night Out.

According to The Madison Police Department:
The Madison Police Department has started planning a new event titled, “Madison Public Safety Day” in lieu of holding the traditional National Night Out event.
Although National Night Out has been a terrific event in past years, it has become increasingly difficult to bring in new and exciting emergency resources to the residents as other towns followed Madison’s lead in holding events on the evening of National Night Out.

“In the neighborhoods that hosted events, National Night Out gave residents a chance to the meet and thank the Madison Police officers who work so hard to make Madison one of the safest communities in the State” said Mayor Bob Conley. “The new event will allow all our residents to see the many of the faces serving our town not only in the Police Department but also with the Fire Department and the Ambulance Corps.”
