Republican, Democrat Win Tightly Contested Madison Council Race
Republican Patrick Rowe and Democrat Maureen Byrne were the top vote-getters on Tuesday night, according to results.

MADISON, N.J.– Republican Patrick Rowe and Democrat Maureen Byrne on Tuesday night emerged victorious in a tightly contested Madison council race, according to results from Deputy Borough Clerk Patty Macaluso.
Rowe was the leading vote-getter with 3,287. Byrne was right behind him with 3,270.
Incumbent Republican Robert Catalanello and Democrat John F. Hoover received 3,249 and 3,076 votes, respectively.
