Rotary Family Festival Music Lineup Announced

Mr. Spork, ATR, Najeli Soul, and the Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey are among the groups playing the four-day carnival.

The Rotary Family Festival Committee has announced the entertainment lineup for the four-day carnival, to be off Park Avenue in Florham Park.

Funk, rock and classical music acts are on the schedule. Performers and times are subject to change. Read more about the acts after the chart.

Mr. Spork and ATR are comprised of students Colin Gooby, Ben Hansen, Justin Kemp, Brian Rigby and Doug Witte. These talented musicians perform classic rock and new favorites with their own unique style and amazing sound.

DJ Chuck Russo: on-air DJ formerly with WDHA, Chuck is a seasoned professional and a crowd pleaser at every event.

Houserockers: The band plays a wide variety of music from the 60s to the present. Members of the band are Neil Mastrobuono (guitar & vocals); Vernon Mott (drums); Eric Baumann (bass & vocals) D. Winter (guitar & vocals); and Frank Facchinei (sax).

Jumping the Gun Band: Local favorites, Bob Rocco and Jumping the Gun Band have played in venues all around Central Jersey.  Their hard-driving rock & roll includes favorites from Springsteen, to Mellencamp, to the Beatles.

Najeli Soul: An exciting, versatile 5-piece party and dance band founded by Thomas (Poet) & Sahirah Johnson. Credits include being second runner-up in the Hard Rock Café’s Battle of the Bands, and completing a National Tour of the musical “Rent.” Get ready to rock!

Exit Row Band: A crowd favorite playing a mixture of classic rock and blues, today’s hits on the radio and original material.  Members have performed at Carnegie Hall, with Southside Johnny, Ozzie Osbourne and the Black Label Society.  The dance floor will be packed!

Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey:  Founded by Conductor/Music Director Robert W. Butts in 1996, the orchestra performs a wide variety of symphonic, chamber and operatic classical music from all periods.

Bill Griese:  This NJ singer-songwriter draws comparisons to James Taylor and other folk-rock legends. His original material combines traditional folk and acoustic rock roots with pop and Motown to create a freshly familiar sound. Bill’s latest CD “Too Long Coming” received very positive reviews from the Star Ledger and the Daily Record of Morris County.
