Scam Alert Issued By Madison Police
Another round of scam calls has come home to roost. Here is what to watch out for.
MADISON, NJ — Nothing seems to be able to stop people from coming up with inventive and new ways to defraud others of their money. The Madison Borough Police Department also urges locals to be vigilant for the most recent scam.
Authorities claim that individuals claiming to be from Home Services of Rate Marketplace have contacted locals and informed them that Madison has partnered with them to provide free solar panels.
"Please note that this is a scam and Madison has not partnered with any organizations in this matter," police said.

All residents are being reminded by officials that they should never give an unknown person access to their assets, money, or sensitive personal information.
