Weather Forecast: National Weather Service Issues Hazardous Weather Outlook
Rain this weekend combined with subsequent snow melt may lead to localized flooding.

With rain expected this weekend, the National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the region, claiming localized flooding is a possibility.
Saturday is expected to have a high temperature of 49 degrees and a 90 percent chance of rainfall, mainly before 5 p.m. Rainfall totals should be between half and three-quarters of an inch. Patchy fog between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
“Rainfall combined with snow melt will result in minor to possibly moderate rises in area rivers and streams this weekend into early next week,” according to the National Weather Service’s hazardous weather outlook. ”The larger rivers and streams across the area are expected to remain below bankfull, but the increase flow will cause ice to break up and move during this time. - Saturday Night: A chance of showers, mainly before 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36. West wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
- Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 49. Northwest wind 8 to 17 mph.
- Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 29. North wind 8 to 15 mph.
