Weather Update: Weekend Weather Forecast in Madison

Rain, rain, go away! After a bout with thunderstorms earlier in the week, what will the weekend look like?

After a pair of bouts with heavy rain and thunderstorms last weekend and earlier this week, residents are likely in the mood for some sunny weather.

The National Weather Service is forecasting partly sunny conditions on Wednesday, with a high near 67 degrees. Wednesday night, weather forecasters are predicting a low near 55 and a 30 percent chance of rain.

Thursday, more rain could make its way back to Madison, with a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 8 a.m. Thursday night will also see a 30 percent chance of showers, with a low near 54, according to the NWS.

Madison residents should see temperatures increasing this weekend and partly cloudy conditions. Friday and Sunday will see temperatures reaching the mid-70s, while Saturday’s high will be near 80 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
