Week in Review: Summer Starts in the Borough

Farmers Market kicks off while other fun events take place in Rose City.

This week saw the beginning of summer, and some hot weather. It also saw the beginning of the Farmers Market, and a number of other fun events.

On Monday, we told you about Madison Softball's end-of-the-season celebration for its 3rd and 4th grad players. We also brought you a video of the district honoring the 2009-10 Teachers of the Year. We also showed you a gallery of the happy graduates form Madison High School.

On Tuesday, we told you about how a few athletes had outstanding seasons for the Madison High School track team. Staying with sports, we also told  you about the Madison U-14 baseball team's game against West Essex. We also told you about new business Hey Cupcake! Finally, we told you how "Friday Night Lights" star Gauis Charles was in the Rose City.
