Week in Review: Summer Starts in the Borough

This week saw the beginning of summer, and some hot weather. It also saw the beginning of the Farmers Market, and a number of other fun events.

On Monday, we told you about Madison Softball's end-of-the-season celebration for its 3rd and 4th grad players. We also brought you a video of the district honoring the 2009-10 Teachers of the Year. We also showed you a gallery of the happy graduates form Madison High School.

On Tuesday, we told you about how a few athletes had outstanding seasons for the Madison High School track team. Staying with sports, we also told  you about the Madison U-14 baseball team's game against West Essex. We also told you about new business Hey Cupcake! Finally, we told you how "Friday Night Lights" star Gauis Charles was in the Rose City.

On Wednesday, we told you about how a man was arrested in connection with with an auto repair scam. We also told you about the upcoming Farmers Market, and told you where and when it will move to a different spot. We also told you about how the Madison Police Department was warning residents of an e-mail scam.

On Thursday, we previewed the weekends upcoming events in our Rose Guide. We also told you about the Relay For Life that was being held at Madison High School. We also told you about how Madison resident Tim Dore was selected to attend West Point.

On Friday, we told you about Madison's own Colin Lee and his band Moss Points North, which was playing in the borough this weekend. We also brought you a video highlight package of the school district honoring its retirees. Finally, we gave you a slideshow from the first Farmers Market of the year.
