Road work in and around Madison will affect traffic Wednesday through next week. Woodland Road in Madison is closed Wednesday between Green Avenue and Green Village Road until approximately 3 p.m. for gas line work by PSE&amp;G, <a href="https://local.nixle.com/madison-police-department/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Madison police announced Wednesday</a>. And road work on Ridgedale Avenue in Florham Park is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday through next week. Police said motorists should avoid the area and plan alternate routes.
