2 Wounded in Overnight Edgewater Shootings: Police
Police are investigating back-to-back shootings in Edgewater that leave two injured from gunshot wounds, the prosecutor's office said.
EDGEWATER, NJ — Police are investigating back-to-back shootings around in Edgewater that each left a 22-year-old hospitalized with a gunshot wound, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said in a Wednesday news release.
Shortly after noon on Wednesday, the prosecutor's office tweeted that one of the victim's condition was updated to stable, and the other is in good condition with non-life threatening injuries.
An initial investigation revealed that the shootings do not appear to be random, the tweet added.

Officers were called to 14 The Promenade apartments around 12:08 a.m. on Wednesday morning, where they found a victim with multiple gunshot wounds, the prosecutor's office said.
Another shooting unfolded at the Exxon gas station at 478 River Road, where a second victim was found with a gunshot wound, the prosecutor's office said.

Both victims, who were not identified, are being treated at an area hospital. No other information is available at this time, the prosecutor's office said.
