3-Vehicle Crash Leaves One Person Trapped In Bergen County: Police

A crash in Teaneck involving three vehicles left one person trapped and in need of extrication, police said.

TEANECK, NJ — A three-vehicle crash Monday night on Route 4 West in Teaneck left one person trapped and in need of extrication, police Capt. Seth Kriegel said.

The three people involved in the crash were believed to have minor injuries, yet refused further medical attention, authorities said.

No summonses were issued, Bergen County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Keisha McLean said.

The westbound side of the highway was temporarily closed at Teaneck Road to allow emergency responders the access and ability to clear the scene. The highway was reopened approximately an hour later, police said.
