Seven Bergen Co. Nonprofits Included In $50K Grant Disbursement

Seven local nonprofits were awarded grants from the Alfred Sanzari Family Foundation as part of a funding effort to improve communities.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Bergen County family foundation has awarded tens of thousands of dollars to seven local nonprofits.

Established in 2006 to carry on the legacy of real estate leader Alfred Sanzari, the foundation awarded $15,000 to organizations statewide, seven of which are in Bergen County, all in an effort to improve communities.

"It’s an honor and a privilege to help (these organizations) meet their goals and accomplish their invaluable work in the year ahead," Dana Jareck, member of the foundation's board of trustees, told ROI-NJ.com.
