Bergen Co. Business Burglarized, Man Charged: Police
A New York man was charged after he was found with "burglar's tools" and proceeds from the alleged crime, according to authorities.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A New York man stands accused of burglarizing a Bergen County business after he was found with "burglar's tools" and proceeds from this and other area crimes, according to authorities.
Adebayo Adedoyin, 25, of State Island, was charged with multiple offenses after he was found at the scene of a reported burglary in progress on New Year's Eve in Hackensack. He could not provide a reason to officers why he was there, city police Capt. Michael Antista said.
Adedoyin had stuff that belonged to the Myer Street business and other property that was originally inside of vehicles also belonging to the business, and the tools and proceeds. He was arrested without incident, police said.

He was charged with six counts of burglary, three counts of receiving stolen property, credit card theft, and criminal mischief. He was processed and released on a summons, with a court date scheduled, police said.
