Bergen County Sheriff's Office Open Enrollment For Academy

The Bergen County Sheriff's Office announced open enrollment for its ten-week Citizen's Police Academy Class.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — The Bergen County Sheriff’s Office announced enrollment for its 26th Citizen’s Police Academy Class.

According to a statement, BCSO’s Citizen’s Police Academy is designed to teach participants on the functions of the Sheriff’s Office and the role the agency plays in Bergen County. The 10-week classroom-style course covers a range from disaster preparedness to fire safety and crime scene analysis.

Classes start on April 7 at 7 p.m. at the Bergen County Jail. The class meets once a week and will be held in various locations throughout Bergen County.
