Body Of Bergen Pizzeria Worker Found In Rockland County: Cops
The body of an 18-year-old Kinchley's Tavern worker who'd been missing for more than a month was discovered Sunday in Suffern, police said.
MAHWAH, NJ - The body of an 18-year-old Bergen County pizzeria worker who'd been missing for more than a month was found Sunday in Rockland County, NY, according to authorities.
Wilson Atz was discovered just over the border in Suffern, at the foot of Lake Antrim near Wayne Avenue, according to Suffern police. Over 80 volunteer search and rescue members were out with Suffern police and New York State Police Sunday searching the area for Atz, Suffern police said in a statement on social media.
An investigation into his death is being led by state police.

The teen worked at Kinchley's Tavern in Ramsey, where owners have been issuing pleas for the public's help in finding Atz.
Following news of his discovery on Sunday, the restaurant offered its condolences to Atz's loved ones and said a fundraiser effort to assist with funeral costs is in the works.

Atz went missing more than a month ago, according to authorities.
He was last seen walking east on Route 202 in Suffern during the early morning hours of Dec. 20, 2019,according to state police. Anyone with information is asked to contact New York State Police at 845-344-5300.
During the past month, Suffern police said authorities have conducted "helicopter and aviation search operations, K-9 searches, used scuba teams to dive local waterways and have conducted countless searches." There's also been door-to-door efforts to acquire video surveillance footage that could help investigators in the case, Suffern police said.
