Man Crashes Into Fence, Charged With Careless Driving In Bergen County

A 22-year-old reported to police he was unable to negotiate a right turn because of his speed, and drove into the fence.

PARAMUS, NJ — A 22-year-old was charged with careless driving after crashing his Kia Sport into a fence Wednesday on Paramus Road, Paramus Deputy Chief Robert Guidetti said.

The driver reported he was unable to negotiate a right turn onto Midland Avenue because of his speed, and drove across the center median across the westbound lanes into the fence, Guidetti said.

The crash resulted in major damage to the fence, and the vehicle was towed after sustaining driver's side damage, police said.
