Cooperstown Team Thanks Community for Support
Team says it was 'proud' to represent Mahwah at an international tournament.
To the Editor,
The Mahwah Thunderbirds 12U Travel baseball teams would like to thank the community of Mahwah for their generous support in helping the boys raise money for their trip to Cooperstown. From Dinner & a Movie to Baseball Day, a Car Wash at Commodore Perry to purchasing Thunderbird merchandise and donating money at A & P, we truly appreciate everyone who helped us reach our goal.
The team has returned with an awesome baseball experience that they will never forget!

Mahwah competed against teams from Canada, California, Colorado, Florida, New York and Illinois. They visited the Baseball Hall of Fame. It was a wonderful week trading pins, making new friends, hitting homers over the Green Monster and competing against the best!
