Bird is the word!
154 days of hard work and dedication paid off for the Mahwah T-Birds 14U – B Club this season.
After having a successful spring season in the 12U age division, the coaching staff challenged these 11 and 12 year olds to step up and compete at the 14U level. The girls responded going 11-1 in their summer season, reaching the finals to beat a "well seasoned" Northern Valley team.
The Lady T-Birds jumped to an early lead and never looked back, beating NV 9-3. Championship MVP Julia Devine pitched six explosive innings and Mandy Morgan shut the door in the seventh.
It was an entire team effort , just as it's been all season said the Mahwah coaches. To work as hard as these girls did and win over 40 games, this team will be forever special to all of us!
