MAHWAH, NJ — A new addition to the Bergen County Law and Public Safety Institute will feature a two-story training mall and a new four-story fire training building with nine propane simulators, a Bergen County spokesperson said.

A grand opening for the Bergen County Training Annex is set at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, according to the county website.

The facility "further bolsters" the institute's credentials as a "world-class training facility for first responders," the spokesperson said. And it will ensure firefighters receive the training necessary to perform their duties "at the highest level."
