Gas Station Plans Approved By Mahwah Adjustment Board
A site plan for a new gas station, which raised concerns at a previous board meeting, was approved by the Mahwah Board of Adjustment.
MAHWAH, NJ — A site plan for a new gas station on the Franklin Turnpike was approved by the Mahwah Board of Adjustment at Wednesday's meeting, with a condition added that the contractor would provide optimized traffic signal timing at the intersection with Stevens Lane.
Pike Enterprises, a provider of energy solutions, applied to demolish an existing gas station at 149 Franklin Turnpike and construct a new one with a canopy and Dunkin' drive-thru, yet concerns were raised in an Aug. 3 meeting over street lighting, fuel delivery times and snow removal.
The board's concerns have been addressed.
