Mahwah Students in Paper Mill Playhouse Production
Several Mahwah students will be featured in a show Thursday put on b the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn. The theater released the following information about the show:

Paper Mill Playhouse is proud to present more than 120 of the of the region’s most talented young performing artists from Paper Mill Playhouse’s Summer Musical Theatre Conservatory in a fully produced, original concert on the Paper Mill mainstage titled New Voices of 2013: Swing Awakening. Members of the competitive Conservatory who earned coveted spots in the Senior, Junior Plus, and Junior Companies (ages 10-18) are directed and choreographed by Paper Mill Playhouse’s professional artistic staff in this concert which is the culmination of the five-week program.
Performances of New Voices of 2013: Swing Awakening will be held on Friday, August 2 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, August 3 at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. Single tickets range in price from $25 to $45. Tickets may be purchased by calling (973) 376-4343, visiting www.papermill.org, or going to the Paper Mill Playhouse Box Office at 22 Brookside Drive in Millburn.

Kim Guadagno Talk
New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno will be in Mahwah at 4 p.m. Friday to give a keynote address to the graduating Youth Leadership Academy Class. State Senator Gerry Cardinale, Assemblywoman Holly Schipesi, and Mahwah Mayor Bill Laforet are also expected to address the over 200 graduating students, and the crowd. The event is open to the public, and will be held at the Bradley Center at Ramapo College.
