MAHWAH, NJ — Two children and a man were taken to the hospital after a motor vehicle crash at Ridge Road and Lydia Lane Friday morning, police said.
A Toyota Rav IV was pulling out of Lydia Lane and turning left onto Ridge Road when it was hit by a Lincoln sedan that was in front of it going south on Ridge Road at about 8 a.m., said Chief James Batelli.
The two children in the back of the Toyota were taken to Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. The boy said his stomach hurt and the girl got a cut above her eye, Batelli said. The man driving the sedan was taken to Valley Hospital after he complained of neck and chest pain. Police did not say if the children's mother, who was driving the Toyota, was injured.
