MAHWAH, NJ — 300 Jaguar Land Rover retailer employees from across North America competed in a series of off-road skills challenges that started at the Mahwah corporate headquarters and travelled to the Vermont driving experience center, the company said.

Land Rover TReK, an off-road competition, pitted 100 three-person teams — each representing the various sales regions across the U.S. and Canada — against each other in head-to-head team and group challenges, the company added.

For the regional trials, competitors drove all-new 2023 Land Rover Defender 110 vehicles, specifically customized for the event, and the winning teams will return to Vermont for the finals that will take place next week.

TReK is a competition designed for retailer staff to educate and test off-road driving experts in driving, navigation and team collaboration, the company said.

"As we look ahead, we are thrilled to bring back the TReK competition for another year putting the capability of the Defender and our retailers’ skills to the test. This competition lets us engage with our retailers while letting them embrace and experience firsthand what the Land Rover brand means," Joe Eberhardt, President and CEO of Jaguar Land Rover in North America, said.
