BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A man died after the forklift he was driving tipped and fell on top of him in Elmwood Park Thursday, police said.

Lin Yi Hui, 59, of Brooklyn was operating a forklift at a 54th Street business when he got too close to the edge of a ramp, said Chief Michael Foligno. The forklift started to tip and Hui was thrown from it.

Hui fell on the ground and the forklift fell on top of him, causing "extensive head trauma," Foligno said.
