Manhunt Underway For 'Dangerous' Elmwood Park Shooting Suspect: Cops
Residents can expect to see police K9 dogs, search helicopters and additional patrols as police search for the wanted man, officials said.

ELMWOOD PARK, NJ — A manhunt is underway for an "armed and dangerous" suspect tied to a shooting in Elmwood Park Tuesday night, Chief Michael Foligno said.
James Allandale, 61, is suspected of a shooting at 113 Lincoln Ave., near Viviney Street, at approximately 5:16 p.m., officials announced.
Police did not release much detail, but News 12 New Jersey spoke to neighbors who said they'd called 911 to report a man with a gun whom they believed to be the homeowner's boyfriend.

Residents can expect to see police K9 dogs, search helicopters and additional patrols as police search for the wanted man, officials said.
"We have ample resources in the area to ensure the safety and security of (the community)," Foligno said.

Police describe Allandale as a 5 foot 10 man with black hair, brown eyes and weighing about 175 pounds.
Additional police patrols, some uniformed and some undercover, are in the area searching for the suspect.
Police are asking anyone who finds Allendale not to approach him, but to call 911 immediately.
